you took me to the 11th world wonder
My mum woke me up at an early 9ish and told me to be ready by 11. As promised, we headed down town for a spree just before the GST hoopla this weekend. There's one thing left on my wish list that I badly wanted and it took me days of thinking plus a whole lot of courage to ask my parents for that. Finally...
Lucky me. :)
After which, I met Yadz at 6 before joining the rest for dinner at Newton Circus where we were touted every 3 steps we took. Our initial plan was aborted after realising that we couldn't get good seats for the movie Transformers. :( I suppose we'll have to save that for another day.
Despite the disappoinment, we still had fun diggin in good food. :) With great company, nothing can possibly go wrong. :)
Plus, that session I had was an 'experience' for me. I gave my taste buds an adventurous ride experimenting with seafood. Apart from the satay, egg and rice I had, everything else tasted foreign to me. And for the very 1st time, I had cockles cockle. One was enough. Lol. My scope of food is pretty narrow after all, revolving around chicken rice to junk food. Yep, how deprived can I get.
I'm dead beat.
Back to Basics, I'm on my way. :)
