This is how I detox

Saturday

Not long before I woke up, I was keeping myself busy with the balloons and deco for Shaheedah's chalet.

Taking into consideration that we all haven't showered yet, this happened....

Mum: Shabbir (my 21 yr old brother), go and clean yourself.

Me: Mummy, he's 21 and you have to tell him to clean himself? *giggles, giggles, giggles*

Mum: *Laughs* No talking.

I'm just pumping air into the balloons and not a 7 year-old doing homework. Lol. Next time, she'll playfully tell me to put my finger on my lips. Oh well, I will still love my mum for that.

Meet Bob the cat. :D

At about 3.30pm, Yadz picked me up and we went to town. I have no idea why, but sushi is now his staple food. A dosage a day keeps the doctor away. Sometimes, double the dosage. I don't usually join in his sushi galore other than a bite or two.

Didn't leave town empty handed. Got that masterpiece for a good deal. Perfect way to accessorise my room.

Anyhow, we left town after an hour or so and Yadz dropped me at Costa Sands chalet where the party was held. Yadz spent the rest of the night with Iss at the Indoor Stadium where they caught the WWE show.

What's a party without goody bags for the kids. :)

Chocolate Truffle cake, simply delish! :D

The gathering turned out well. It was one of those get together sessions that I enjoy all the time. We had a wide spread of sides to go along with the rice and desserts as well to wrap up dinner. Plus the heavenly cake, sinfully yummy. :) I'm looking forward to next week because I know 4 others who are turning a year older. :) More celebrations to come. I sure can't wait for that.

Moving on now. My Saturday didn't end just there yet. I decided to ask my dad whether I could stay out later for a midnight movie. Actually, it was my mum who forwarded my intentions to him. Lol. Yep, my dad's strict but it's a good thing. I've experimented with freedom once and I have to admit that it can be damaging.

So Yadz picked me before midnight and off we went to Cineleisure to catch...

Disturbia

We had to catch the 1.25am show as the 12.40am tickets were selling fast. Since we had time to spare, we had supper before the movie.

Seafood Pasta for him together with..

Chocolate Milkshake. What a combo.

Strawberry Milkshake for me. :D Luscious.

The director of Disturbia must have been really smart. :D I had no clue what was going to happen next. Deftly one of those rare flicks with an unpredictable ending that keeps you on the edge of your seat. With that, Disturbia gets 4 golden popcorns. :D

Sunday

My Sunday was well spent with Shaheedah, my cousins and Yadz. We headed down to Suntec first to check out an exhibition.

Dinner came in next. Since it's a Sunday, where else to have a perfect dinner other than at....

Lau Pa Sat

We had our regulars and the satay newbies enjoyed every single bite of the delish juicy satay. :) No regret for sure when you're eating with us. :D Despite Yadz being the only guy around, we 5 enjoyed each others' company and had a jolly good time feasting together. :)

After sending the 3 girls home, Yadz and I went to town for a stroll. Did some shopping before ending the night with this...

Starbucks Hazelnut Hot Chocolate. No other better way to put it, but imagine drinking aqueous ferrero rocher. How gratifying. Gloria Jeans was closed by the way, so we decided to try something new, which we didn't regret at all. :D
