you're my morning call

We made sushi today. :) Yadz came over at 3plus and we both put our hands to good use. Making sushi wasn't a hassle at all because there's not much preparations involved.

Him talking to my mum while waiting for the rice to cook.

Thinning the slices of crabsticks. He cuts like a pro, well deftly better than me I think.

Got my fingers really sticky doing that. Nevertheless, it was fun. :)

Sticky twist!

Only after our 3rd roll did we discover the actual way of using the mat. As a result, the more perfect looking roll. The other 3, though not so nice-looking still tasted yummy. :)

Perfecto. :) Our last attempt. Goody good.

In total, we made 4 rolls of california maki. Had ourselves a few bites before we packed the rest for his household. He's been high on sushi these days and that explains why we tried making some ourselves. :) Though our version of cali maki didn't taste as fab as those from Ramen Ten or Sakae Sushi, we had a fruitful time spent together in the kitchen of all places. :)

That's another reason why I love Bibik. She's my partner in crime at home. :)

Left my place about 5plus and headed to PS. We settled at Macs for munchies where we spent more than 2 hours with our lappies transferring games, surfing the net and jabbering about anything under the sun. :)

I love this very-cheap-but-doesn't-look-so-very-cheap top. :)

We left PS at about 10.30pm with toasted bums but happy. :)

Many more sushi-making sessions to come. xXooOXX

On a random note, here's one viddy worth checking out. Listen to the lyrics and watch till the end. Hee. :)

PS: Here's an e-hug for you Aisha. :) Hope you're better.
