hunky-dory

Started out Sunday with Bugis first. Managed to collect my reserved items after paying for them. We didn't skip the fair going on at Bugis Junction. :) No prizes for guessing that we got ourselves cupcakes for 3 days in a row already. :)

There happened to be Hula hoop competition for kids going on at Bugis Junction. I must say that I'm quite impressed with both the qualifiers. They can just go on and on without much effort needed. We didn't stay till the show ended but I think the kid in pink won.

Our dose of cuppies. :)

We left Bugis and off we went to Lau Pa Sat for dinner. I left home with an empty stomach just to save my appetite for dinner. I say it's worth the wait because this time, we found a better stall which offered juicier satay.

Best Satay stall is the place to order the best satays. The name says it all. :)

I'm not a fan of mutton but their mutton satay is an exception. Simply put, to die for. I can promise you that. :D

Looked good up front but tasted better.

Still fresh!

Chicken's yummy too but mutton got me at first bite! :D

Fortchly, we got seats once we arrived and lucky us not to be trapped in the rain since it only started to drizzle when we were chomping on our last few sticks of satay. In a nutshell, dinner was splendid and we're planning to pay Lau Pa Sat another visit next weekend. In fact, I can safely say that Lau Pa Sat is our fav new spot.

I have no idea why but we ended up driving to Borders after dinner. We're not bookworms to begin with but we somehow love that store. Deftly one of the places in town left to visit after 9 when most shops are closed.

On a random note, I'm high on chocolates these days though not in large amounts. In fact, M&Ms is right next to me now. :)

I hate Mondays!
