Banish the blues.

Waking up this morning took a toll on me. I started Monday at 11.45am with the blues. :S Everything in my wardrobe suddenly didn't look fine on me and as a result, it took me longer than the norm to finally get dressed.

The ball started rolling and things didn't look as bleak after I set foot out of my place. As promised, I saved my day for my mum. Yadz joined us as well since I figured that he would be of great help and company too.

First stop, the clinic. After my mum picked up the medication for my grandfather, we left for Little India. My mum suggested lunching at one of her fav restaurants. Yadz and myself, though new to that place, enjoyed our serving of goodies. :) Over lunch, we three had a good chat about this and that.

Then came the sole purpose of our trip to Little India: shopping at Mustafa Centre. While my mum was helping herself at the 4th floor, I was busy grabbing junkies from wall to wall with Yadz. :)

We spent barely an hour there before we headed down to Arab Street where my mum got the religious books she wanted. She ended her day at an early 6 plus when we sent her back home. Monday didn't end just there yet for the both of us. We continued our evening at Orchard where we spent a full hour browsing through magazines at Borders. While I kept myself busy flipping through issues after issues of Cosmogirl, Yadz occupied himself with the lastest scoops of WWE.

Randomly decided to pay Marks & Spencer a visit as well and couldn't help getting a pack of butter mints to share. :) I'm high on candy-shopping today.

Paid Isetan a visit too hoping to put the vouchers to good use, specifically on underclothing. Just my luck that each one I happened to pick costs a bombshell. Left Isetan with my dropped jaw back in place before making our way back. My mum called amidst our journey and asked us to grab the Ezyhealth mag for her from the pharmacy along the way. Made a stop at Tampines for that before a hungry me craved for nuggets from Macs. Made another stop at White Sands where we had 6 nuggies and conveniently took the chance to book drop our well overdue books.

Monday didn't turn out so bad after all. :)

On a random note...

At this moment, I'm craving for donuts, pizza and satay. I hope to start tomorrow with one of them. Perhaps a combo of two would hit the spot with donuts as compulsory. I'm not suprised if I'm craving for something else instead when I wake up. :D
