Sugar is only sweeter with them

I slept like a log, woke up twice, went to the toilet once, used the lappy twice, helped myself with a cuppy, slept again and finally woke up at 3.15pm. I potentially make the laziest person on earth on Mondays. Period.

Went to Little India with Yadz to get the pressure cooker fixed for my mum. Sometimes people find it hard to believe that I'm Indian until I start flashing my IC. Maybe I just resemble my mum more, who happens to be a Chinese. But then again I don't look Chinese. ?? Anyhow, we settled for an early dinner at Little India since we were just steps away our fav vegetarian restaurant. :)

Vegans for the day...

The last time we paid Little India a visit for a meal was months back. That pretty much explained why we enjoyed dinner and the fact that he had double the dose. If I counted right, I had 3 servings of the reddish-orange gravy. It's spicy, the way I like it. I believe it's their secret recipe. Deftly the best gravy for me when it comes to dipping my goodies. :D

Since we were already in Little India, Yadz said that we should maximise our trip there. A good excuse to visit the candy shop. 2 servings of his fav candy to go before we left for Suntec.

Went to Suntec with the sole purpose of visiting Donut Factory. The fact that we both can get 2 donuts each within 10 minutes made it easy for him to fulfill his cravings. Since I was filled and wasn't craving for any, he had all 4 to bring home. :D

Spicy Cheese & Almond

Double Chocolate & Raspberry Chocolate

Then came McCafe. We spent a solid hour or so just talking about our families and sipping on our drinks. We knew long ago that one of the things that complemented us was the fact that both our parents brought us up the old school way. Meaning, our parents didn't spare the rod and we saw their underlying wise intentions now. :)

After our heart-to-heart conversation, we joined the other tourists over at the fountain. My my, times have changed. Never knew lights and water worked beautifully together. :D That looked far better in real life especially when enhanced with great music.

We didn't skip visiting the book fair where I got myself this book for 6 bucks! That's practically a steal. A new addition to my existing collection. :)

Since it was rather early, we spared the remaining time for Bugis. Paid the comic store a visit since Yadz wanted to check out the latest comics. While he was caught up with that, the sight of a bobble head Marilyn Monroe got me fascinated. It's so cute but not so cute when I learnt that it costs 24 bucks. :S

In other better news, we bumped into Di and Nadiah at Topshop. It was a pleasant suprise to see them after so long. Spent a good 5 minutes on updates before making our way back to the carpark. Monday still turned out fine though it started out with a drag getting out of bed. :)

Sometimes I wish to tell the world everything but everything means a complicated 7-dimensional picture. My life revolves more than just around what you see here. Complex but nothing bad at all. :)
