carpe diem

This is a bluff. A bad example I came out with but try to get the gist of the idea I'm trying to imply here.

Hmm, what if I told you that I'm actually ang-moh?
You'll probably lol first, then you'll find my saying really really strange and crazy, but nothing bad at all. :D

That's how my life is, strange, crazy too but nothing bad at all. I'd like to equate that both to perfect and special. =) That's the simplest I can give for now.

Reality check time...

Yadz left for Bangkok earlier this morning with 3 other lads, all 4 hoping to optimise their freedom before serving the nation. One day down and a couple more days to go before his return on Tuesday night. My agenda for the next few days couldn't be any better. Promised fun with great company will cheer anyone up any time and banish the blues. With that, here's what's been...

Tuesday was well spent. Yadz ensured that he fulfilled his cravings from a to z before flying off. We started out with Mcdees for cheeseburgers. Since we were already at White Sands, we didnt forgo paying Yummy Donuts a visit for a Feather donut as well. :D

Cake-searching for Fareez's 20th birthday came next. We headed down to Tampines and it didn't take us Yadz long to finally find the perfect cake. Evidently, a pick like that must have been his. :D

Went back to my place after that to collect the 2 boxes of curry puffs my mum got for his family. We then paid Central a visit for donuts. No suprises. :) The dozen of micro-donuts from Marcial Kobe really made his day. :D He's high on them these days. As for Donut Factory, it's now officially his 2nd best.

Proceeded to Mustafa Centre after that with the intentions of getting his toiletries and other essentials for the trip. Before ending our day, we had supper together with his family. By the end of the night, my feelings juggled between happy and sad. We ended the day perfectly well but end wasn't what I was looking forward to.

He did call and text me though. And I'm most glad that he's having a jolly good time on the other side. He deserved it. :)

Moving on, Wednesday was good. I spent the afternoon with my mum and my grandmothers. Did the usual routine of picking up and sending my grandmother home from the mosque. While my grandmother was having her 2 hour session at the mosque, my mum and myself paid my other grandmother(mum's mum) a visit and had lunch after that as well at Lion City's Banquet. I love my grandmother's new place because of its 'therapeutic' feel.

Shaheedah ringed me up me up for a hangout since she was done with her e-learning-from-home tasks. We settled for dinner at Tong Seng where she had roasted chicken rice and we both shared a plate of Prawn Tempura. Since we were steps away from Raffles City where Chippy awaits, she thought that it'd be great to wrap up the evening with a dose of Fried Mars Bars.

Long walks are made shorter with great company. I've came to realise that our convos are never-ending. :)
