We made the great escape
Keeping in mind that I slept past 4am, it was a miracle that I woke up at 6plus in the morning with difficulties getting back to sleep. Failing to slumber after 2 hours of tossing and turning in bed, I called up Yadz and we both came out with a better plan. Headed down to Mohammed Sultan Road to have breakfast at....

To be honest, I haven't had breakfast for ages even at home, simply because I keep waking up way past noon, taking maximum advantage of my term break.
Moving on now, we had a plate each of Salmon with Bagel. On top of that, Yadz ordered himself another serving of Banana Toast. :) Tcc is the only place I happen to know that offers fresh salmon without the expense of ripping a wallet. Our picks were fab but what made it better was the fact that the place was peaceful and quiet, giving us a getaway-holiday-mood. I know that may sound weird but it's just not everyday that we get to find a place which is bustle-free in Singapore at 11am.

Banana ToastIt's so odd to be out earlier than usual but nevertheless, we needed our regular after-meal walks and so we decided to explore Mohammed Sultan Rd. After which, we left for town and spent an hour there before we left for home. By then, we were both sleepy.
But we could still afford a slice each of ice-cream cake over at my place.
Once Yadz left, I slept like a log and woke up before 5pm to meet up with my girlfriends for a get together session after Rad's return from Umrah. They came over my place to hangout first before picking Salwa up from Tampines. We 5 headed down to Arab Street at the comfort of Rad's car. :)
No suprises. We ended up at Al-Majlis for dinner. Rad's great idea. :) She read my mind well. Three days in a row of Al-Majlis for me and I still am craving for more. Simply can't get enough of that place. :D Anyhow, we had a jolly good time feasting to our hearts' content and certainly enjoyed the great company we had. We managed to do our rounds of updates over dinner but I must say that they were all brief due to the lack of time.
Anyhoos, here comes the pitchas together with captions that only they understand best. :)

After all that galore, I met Yadz who did my after-food walk with me. Wednesday went well with double the dose of great food and double the dose of him. :)
