I wasn't at the best of moods when I woke up slightly frustrated as a result of my disrupted sleep. I was sluggish until after a refreshing shower. :) Refreshed and ready to go, my Saturday started out late with Yadz picking me at about 4plus. He claimed that he had to drive down to Kembangan to run an errand for his mum. Clueless that he actually had a suprise planned, I fell for that. We were lost initially but with the guidance of a couple of helpful strangers along the way, we finally found Jalan Sentosa. While I waited in the car, he collected what he supposedly had to collect for his mum but I soon learnt that...

My stomach was already singing to a tune and I noticed that I haven't had anything for the past 20 hours from my last plate of Tong Seng's Chicken Rice and Japanese Pancake. Call me weird but I never eat at home and thus my source of survival depends on what I eat outside. I think it's because I don't take mutton too often but my kitchen offers mutton all the time.
It was that yummy. :D
Anyhow, the cupcakes came at a good timing. :D Helped myself with 2 cupcakes before we drove off to Taka to have our first meal for the day at Delifrance.

We didn't want to spoil our appetites for dinner at Nad's birthday gathering but we were famished and thought that it'd be best to feed ourselves first. He had baked rice while I had my usual Beef lasagne. It's been some time since we last had their goodies and celebrating our 10th monthsary there couldn't have been a better idea. :D I double enjoyed my plate since I was hungry. :D After which, we walked for an hour or so before leaving for Costa Sands where Nad's birthday gathering was held.
It was great to see familiar faces there. Met a couple of bloggers there as well as secondary school and primary school mates. Did alot of catching up and cam-whoring was a must. :)
The fudge cake was really delish! It didn't take long for the entire cake to vanish and settle in our tummies. :D Nad's aunt was a great sport. She got the guests hyped up before the cake-cutting session. I was quite filled from our early dinner and as a result, I had to forgo having the yummy-looking chicken wings. :S Anyhow, pitchass now.
Meet..

Unfortch, some of the pictures taken were blurry, so I'm hoping to grab the rest from Nad soon. Anyway, when the remaining primary school mates came over, we got together and snowballed laughters all night long. We reminisced our not-so-cool days and poked fun at each other. :D Those were the days where catching was the 'in' thing to play in school. Be it during recess or while making transitions to our mother tongue classes. Boy, I miss those carefree days.

This bunch makes laughing a remedy. See that guy in red, Aqil, he looks insane but in actual fact, he's so bright that he'd be flying off to London to further his studies soon at the prestigious LSE. And the guy with the cap on, Rushdi, will never fail to crack up when Aqil gives the camera that million-dollar pose of his each time. And I've known the white-specky guy since kindergarten.
They're nice people with good hearts. And I love them for that. :) With that, Saturday went better than I thought.
