Never too old to be young

I was running a little late today after waking up past noon. The past two nights were long ones and as a result, I'm on a lag now. Late was I but never too late for a a jolly good time with 9 others. Good thing Yadz was free to join us and was kind enough to drive half of the group around.

At 2 plus, once we've picked all of them up, we headed down to Tampines Mall first to get the tickets. I guessed it right. There was a long queue and tickets were selling fast. As a result, we got tickets for the 4.25pm show instead of the 3.40pm one.

That was given to me by my little-est cousin when she greeted me with a warm hug. :) Her masterpiece made a great gesture of appreciation. That's very sweet of her. With pleasant kids like her around, I don't mind being a teacher myself. :) A decent job that gives alot of satisfaction indeed.

Anyhow, since we had plenty of time to spare, we made our way to Simei's Banquet for lunch. :D Over lunch, we 10 chatted, laughed and savoured our dishes. :)

Though we were one of the last few people entering the cinema, we were on time for the movie. In case you've not guessed yet, we caught Ratatouille. :) Another movie with an unexpected ending. :) Besides, anything Pixar is guaranteed good. If you're up for a good dose of humor, then Ratotaouille is the movie to catch. In fact, it has the same happily-ever-after ending as that of No Reservations. I hope that wasn't a spoiler.

Moving on now, after the movie, we didnt forgo paying Macdonalds a visit but before that, we gave the youngest 2 a little treat. :) The $1 ride that gave them the thrills.

Our outing ended well and it was great to see a smile on each of their faces at the end of the day. Well, there's deftly more to come so long as I'm young at heart. :)

That aside, Yadz and I didn't end the night just there yet. Since he was craving for pasta and it was only 8 plus, we decided to pay town a visit. After he got his dose of that, we walked from Somerset to Orchard. I've came to realise that we make one couple that loves to walk. Anyway, after walking for a good hour or less, Yadz decided to pay Vil'age a visit with the intentions of checking out their cakes. I was least suprised when we left Heeren cake-less but with Yadz's tummy filled with ice-cream and crepe instead. :D

I don't blame him for being hooked to that. It's good stuff. :)

As for now, I shall put my good read on hold for something better. That's none other than The Hills!
