Starting Saturday with a good dose of fast food was a brilliant idea. :D Yadz and I went to Orchard with the intention of getting my brother 'something' which I'd rather not mention here because it's just too funnily weird. Lol.
Our trip to town was a fast one because we had other plans lined up, namely Ayu's wedding to attend to and my dad's birthday dinner. :)
Yadz and I reached Elias CC at 7ish. There, we joined Nadia and Edroos for dinner. It was nice to finally see them in person. :) Saw a couple of familiar faces as well. I must point out one thing about the wedding. Make that two. :) One, I was quite impressed with the wedding singers. Dressed in a retro code, the 2 talented Chinese guys did a faboo job in drawing the crowd's interest with English oldies. :) Two, I must admit that it was really sweet of the groom to have sung Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight especially for his wife. That's classic. :)
Ayu looked gorgeous by the way. I know I should have said that way earlier. :) Anyway, I'm happy for the newly weds. Many happy returns.
Moving on, after the wedding, I rushed back home, changed, picked Shaheedah up and headed down to Jalan Kayu for dinner. Good thing Yadz tagged along for if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be able to find my way. I was filled and so I didn't have anything more than a bite or two. The company was great, with more than 30 of us having a rolling good time. I've sinned not to have taken any pictures. :S Shizzle Dizzle.
Dunzo with dinner, the entire 'troop' headed back to my place and lazed around. The girls came up to my bedroom to hangout. We caught a couple of viddys on youtube before watching the younger ones turning my bedroom into a playground. Amazingly, I can never get mad at them for that.
If there's ever a power I could have, I'd wanna be perfect. Perfect for my dad, for I've always had this phobia of disappointing the best dad in the world. Of course I'd wanna be perfect for everyone but perfect in this context would mean doing my dad proud. I'm glad he liked what we got him. Happy Birthday to dad once more. :)
