Yadz suggested fine dining for dinner to celebrate our 1st anniversary but bearing in mind that it's the fasting month, I foresee that every restaurant would be crowded on a Saturday night and though making reservations would secure us seats, that doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get our orders on time. Then two Mondays ago, for some strange reason, I had great ideas flowing one after another while in the toilet of all places. With that, I told Yadz to rest his case and allow me to take charge. =)
Since Aisha and Nas recently celebrated their 1st anniversary, I thought that it'd make the occasion merrier if they could join in the fun too. Spread the news to Aisha who instantly became my partner in crime. =)
Before anything else, bear in mind that both guys had no clue that they were actually falling for the same surprise. All they were told before hand was to be dressed with a white top. With that, let the magic begin…
Saturday 6/10
5.30pm: Did some last minute shopping for dinner with Aisha before heading back to my place to set up the dinner table.
6.30pm: Picked Yadz and Nas up, blindfolded them both and made as many rounds as possible around the hood just to mislead them into thinking that dinner would be miles away. Aisha and I got the thrills looking at them at the edge of their seats, anxious. =)
Let's meet..

7.20pm: Finally reached my place. Aisha dropped first to ensure that the dinner table was at its dandiest while I was supposedly parking at the 'car park' with the guys still in the car. Then finally...

Anyway, it didn't take us long at all to begin dinner... =)
In case you're wondering, that green bottle doesn't consist of wine. It's just non-alcoholic sparkling apple juice which I got from NTUC which also got a Muslim lady looking at me strangely when she saw me holding that, especially since I got it during the fasting month. She probably must have thought otherwise. Lol. That aside, thanks to good membership privileges and my dad, I was able to redeem a new digicam (more user-friendly and better than the one I used to use) which pretty much explains why the pictures seem enhnaced for once.
Anyway, to top dinner off, Aisha and I got our boyfriends a little something as well.
I found the 2 rings attached to the frame really sweet. :)
Anyway, Yadz broke his watch weeks ago and so I thought that it'd be the perfect 'timing' to get him a new one and since he's been eyeing on the Unforgivable perfume for months, I decided to add that as well. I'm aware that my purse is now slightly ripped but I know that the damage will soon be mended because raya is just days away. =) =) Lol.
Dinner was splendid. We ate to our hearts delight, had a couple of good laughs and shared an experience that was once in a lifetime. Dejavu-ing the whole thing would be fun but will never be as special as last night. =)
Moving on now, our night didn't end just there yet. Just to make the night a little more special, my brother allowed us to take his car out. =) And so we were on our way to Surprise no. 3.
We've been wanting to visit the Mind Cafe ever since moons ago and finally got the chance to do just that last night. =) That was when an avalanche of laughters and a whole lot of fun started. =) Hurhur. What a great remedy to detox all the stress. :D
I recommend playing the game First Hand. We had a rolling good time laughing so hard at our foolishness.
All good things have to come to an end. After two hours of gaming, we finally ended Saturday night on a great note. =)
Before ending this entry, I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to those who helped. Without you all, the night wouldn't have been one of those nights we'll never forget.
Special thanks to my mum who was the chef for the night, to bibik who was the assistant chef, to my aunt who specially made us her delish steak sauce, fruit salad and whipped potato, to my sister and my mum again who went gift-shopping with me, to my brother for lending the car and clearing the front yard, to all those who shared their ideas and last but not least, to Aisha, my mafia.
Much appreciated.
We got both guys saying A-yo. =) And so Mission Accomplished! Kudos to us.
